Sharon Stone Wants To Direct Basic Instinct 3

IMDB has confirmed that Sharon Stone still wants to continue with the Basic Instinct franchise, even though it bombed at the box office. She feels the problem with it was the fact that she was wasn't directing it. Obviously, Stone is trying to direct and star in the next one.

She said: "There's a script for the next part of the story - but I would like to direct it rather than star in it. It will be filmed in the UK again as the setting is more intense and gritty."

So let me get this straight. Sharon thinks the movie will do better if she is a director. Does anyone hear me laughing, because it's pretty loud. The problem with the movie doesn't have anything to do with directing, it has to do with the lead actress.
